What first attracted you to your current partner?
Dorota : We liked each other’s profile ..and we though we are a good match. It was definitely what we were looking for.

Tell us about how your relationship progressed?
Dorota : Angelo was the one who initiated contact. I replied to him and we kept emailing each other until me met in person (for 1 week).

First date - We then met in St Albans where Angelo booked a table in a little gorgeous restaurant. But before we met.. Angelo got stuck in a traffic so he was running late (40 minutes late), I kept sending him texts (to a wrong tel no) and received no reply to them.. so I decided to leave.. as soon as I started waking away I heard my phone ringing – it was Angelo. It was the first time I heard his voice. He explained what was happening.. and we met in person 5 minutes later. We had a great time on our first date. We kept laughing and smiling, we find out we have so much in common and we are so alike. We both travelled a lot and had so much to talk about. We definitely wanted to met up again.

We met again a few times more and Angelo introduced me to his family after a month. This is when I thought for the first time.. it is getting serous;) We moved in together after a month of dating – we didn’t want to waste time – we knew we want to be together. It got easier – we didn’t have to travel 50 miles to see each other. Angelo did what all people in love do.. crazy things like driving 40 miles from the centre of London with a Crispy Cream doughnut to my office just because I mentioned to him on the phone I fancy one. We travelled a lot – we went on holiday to Spain, to Paris.. and no Angelo didn’t proposed on Eiffel Tower – he popped the question on Monday morning a week before we went to France. I was still in bed. He got ready, put the suit on.. and I saw his going on his knee when I opened my eyes. I said YES of course. This man was everything I could wish for. I loved him to bits so I was looking forward to becoming his wife. We started saving money for the wedding which was planned for 2007..but it didn’t stop us from travelling. We spent New Years Eve (2007) in Rome, then we went for a couple of weeks to Oman and Dubai in January, Then to Barcelona at the beginning of March, and Poland at the end of March.

Then the big day came – our Wedding Day. Was just amazing. Against the tradition we spent the night before the wedding together. We could relax and chill out.
I was so excited.. my stomach went crazy, I couldn’t even put a lipstick on – my hands were shaking like mad ;) Of course we both said our YES’es and everything went smoothly. It was perfect. For our honeymoon – we spent 2 weeks in Dubai. It was great – the weather, and food.. although I could not enjoy the food as my .. morning sickness kicked in! We came back from our honeymoon and our “life together” started.. and we have enjoyed every minute of it. We bought our first house.. as baby was on its way we needed something bigger in a nice quite area. We moved to Essex – my Angelo’s beloved country he left 2 years ago to move in with me. Angelo was wonderful during my pregnancy – he gave me so much support and was extremely understanding and patient.

Our baby girl – gorgeous Alicia - arrived in December 2007.. Angelo was there with me holding my hands. We were both so happy we had each other and our little healthy and perfect baby.
Angelo : We are a family now and it brings our relationship to another level. We didn’t sleep for the first 2 nights at all. We kept staring at the baby during the days – when she was sleeping and we were comforting her during the nights when she was awake .. and crying. We have started thinking about moving to Australia – to give our baby a better life.

Thinking about it now – I can’t imagine how empty my life would be if I didn’t register with the Dating Direct ;)

What made you realise the relationship was serious?
Dorota : Angelo introducing me to his family after a month
Angelo : talking about our holiday plans for the next 2 -65 months – it all made me realise the relationship was getting serious.

What are your plans for the future – trips away / family etc?
Dorota : More babies ;) .. just kidding..
So much has happened within last 2 years.. is there more ? – We are going to raise our baby, possibly move to Ozzie land and travel, travel, travel.. there is so many places we have not been to.
