I was first attracted to the daft grin on Notlaw76's picture when he winked at me. I winked back then sent a message requesting to chat. That week we must have spent in total over 30hrs solid chatting and we realised that we had an awful lot in common, similar sense of humour, likes and dislikes to the point where we tested each other with random questions and got them right with very few exceptions, if any. We would log on approx 6pm in the evening and still be chatting away past 3-4am. After a couple of nights chatting we decided we should meet which was exciting but also scared us both as we were getting on so well - What if we didnt like each other in person? What if we had nothing to say? What if the reality didnt match up? We decided that it was pretty unlikely that we wouldnt get on, so we agreed to meet on the Friday evening. I was typically late. Luckily I had already forewarned that I am prone to this type of thing happening and he took this in good patience and humour and came to meet me at the station rather than wait in the pub. We hit it off straight away and despite having chatted for many hours during the week we still had more than plenty to say to each other and after initial nerves had disappeared, we spent a lot of time laughing together. I had set reminders on my phone to text my best mate at regular intervals to let her know I was safe as we look out for each other. I knew by the first reminder that all was going much better than ever expected so said I would ring her the next day to give details of how the date went. I quickly realised that he was the one for me and I knew he felt the same about me too. Our first date was on 15th August 2008 and as I write I am currently 25 weeks pregnant. I cant say that we planned it to happen this way but we are both absolutely over the moon and looking forward to being a family with plans for more children and marriage when we get round to it! The main thing is that neither of us expected to find anything more than a few dates, to meet diffferent people and brush up on dating skills. Instead we have found something special that both of us had started to believe only happened to other people or in films. Now we both enjoy being the sickeningly in love couple. A few more of my friends have signed up for Dating direct based on our story and seeing how happy we are. Being together just feels so right for both of us. We even love each others parents and they all get on very well too. Our baby is due at the beginning of November and we are planning a big family Christmas with all of our family together.
